Searching for a Director of Operations to lead a high-growth distribution company that is planning for exponential growth over the next several years. You'll be provided with the resources and support to implement new strategies to drive improvements to warehouse and distribution operations.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and improve Inventory Control processes
- Develop and implement strategic plans for fleet management including asset utilization, maintenance and compliance
- Develop a strategic plan for warehouse operations management, designing and executing improvement strategies for inventory management, order fulfillment and facility optimization.
- Lead initiatives improving warehouse efficiency in process automation, layout optimization and inventory control measures.
- Develop long-term strategic plans for operations, identify opportunities for growth expansion.
- Build and develop a high-performance, collaborative operations team - fostering a team culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven expertise in lean methodologies, process optimization, and strategic leadership. Lean Black-Belt certification is a plus.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems to optimize distribution.
- Experience with WMS and TMS systems along with other relevant software tools.
