We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize all logistics and supply chain operations at our Jacksonville facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods from suppliers to customers while maintaining high levels of accuracy, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and transportation.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet delivery timelines.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Lead and supervise warehouse and logistics personnel; ensure adequate staffing, training, and performance management.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels; conduct regular audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation, safety, and hazardous materials.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transportation companies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production, and customer service teams to support overall business objectives.
- Analyze data and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement; generate regular reports for senior leadership.
- Oversee the maintenance of logistics equipment, vehicles, and systems to ensure optimal operation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management; at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS), Excel, and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation regulations, and inventory management best practices.
