Job Description
The Public Relations Coordinator (Temp) will support the Christian Dior Parfums U.S. Public Relations team in the execution of key PR efforts across all Dior Beauty categories: skincare, fragrance, and makeup.
The role will report directly to the PR & Events Manager, supporting the press and PR events functions, and provide supplemental support to the Expert Ambassador Manager and team function.
The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, can successfully multitask, has a positive, solutions-driven attitude, is organized, and detail-oriented.
Every day on the PR team is different, but tasks will include:
- Directly support the team with daily tasks, ongoing projects, and team administrative matters related to US press relations, image event production, and brand expert ambassadors:
- PR Contact list and tracker management
- Daily Dior beauty product send outs to press and expert ambassadors (via messenger, UPS, and WorldNet)
- Press and digital campaign monitoring, reporting, and recapping including:
- Lead press clipping efforts and weekly press reporting for Central PR Office & local executives
- Assist PR Manager with monthly DMR print & web checks
- Work with cross-functional PCD & CDC team members to compile & send the Morning Update daily report
- Digital content & Tribe dashboard management
- Support ongoing press and campaign recaps
- Team budget administrative support
- PR event production administrative support, including logistics, timelines, and inventory management
- Partner closely with Digital PR Coordinator and Entertainment Relations Manager on shared team tasks, including;
- PR product and supply closet management and restock orders
- New launch collection sample forecasting and tracking
- PR launch mailers and giftings
- Assist PR team with managing event / product launch timelines, mailer lists, and execution of editorial and makeup artist mailers for ongoing product launches across makeup, skincare, grooming and fragrance
- General office supply orders
- Assist with budget administration for PR & Events team including:
- New vendor setup
- Invoice tracking and submissions
IDEAL START DATE: June 2025
HOURS: 9AM to 6PM ET Monday to Friday, with 1hr unpaid lunch break daily. In-Office Monday to Thursday, remote Fridays pending business needs.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience (internship, part time, full time) in similar PR or marketing roles
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and has strong organizational, professional, and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving, positive attitude is a must
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- A strong interest in beauty and fashion as well as current events
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Team), Launch Metrics, DMR & Adobe Acrobat PDF Editor
