Assistant Project Manager
DFW International Airport, Dallas, TX – Fully Onsite
$70–110K (Depending on Experience) – Full Time with Benefits
Looking to advance your career? Take your skills to the next level with us! R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) is seeking a talented Assistant Project Manager. Responsible for assisting project managers and construction managers for the day-to-day tasks associated with the project. Coordinates and monitors the inspection efforts of inspection staff in their assigned area of responsibilities on projects to determine that Contractor’s activities are monitored and controlled in accordance with the contract documents. Monitors contractor’s construction progress with the baseline schedule.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with presentation development.
- Assist with DFW processes with change orders, submittals, procurement, project financials, and schedule.
- Assist project managers to develop Executive level summaries and development of SOPs.
- Work with owner and stakeholders to provide strategic planning ideas, oversee all required permits, and remove roadblocks for the Contractor’s work to progress.
- Assist in the design review process.
- Assist and lead the RFI review process with designer, contractor, DFW departments, and stakeholders.
- Project closeout.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a related construction, engineering, or technical discipline, or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass security clearance requirements and background check.
- Excellent communication is important.
- Alternative delivery (Design Build/CMAR) experience a plus.
Job Offer:
- Competitive base salary between $70 – 110K, depending on project assignment, experience, skills, and location.
