Who You Are:
You are highly analytical, interested in fashion, and can drive results in a fast-paced environment. You will provide support to achieve financial merchandise strategies to maximize sales, profit, inventory, and turn objectives for Versace Retail. You will work collaboratively, detect and interpret trends, and learn how to draw inferences on how to grow our business.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for ensuring all outlet stores have the appropriate stock levels by style and category.
- Manage stock from initial allocation through end-of-life cycle of merchandise, including replenishment and consolidation of goods to other stores or channels.
- Manage overall outlet store inventory levels based on store capacity, attributes, seasonality and selling curves.
- Conduct allocations a few times a week to replenish products in all stores, including made for outlet products (newness & core) as well as aged goods. Follow the cadence of drops from our Milan merchandising team.
- Partner with the Outlet Planner and Outlet Buyer in helping determine the flow of new products in stores on a weekly and monthly basis based on collection launches, store inventory levels, and forecasted category needs.
- Update and manage the allocation forecast on a weekly basis to help drive business decisions including opportunities for rebalancing, destocking, and for sending additional newness.
- Work closely with the logistics team and retail leadership in managing shipment timings, shipping capacities, achieving desired in-store delivery dates, and the flow of goods during peak-selling periods.
- Send weekly lists to outlet stores of all products to be delivered that week with pictures.
- Analyze stock levels by style by store and send out inter-store transfers/consolidations to balance stock on a bimonthly basis.
- Review, analyze and respond to product requests and multi-unit confirmed sales from outlet stores.
- Partner with the Outlet Planner to recap business at by door level and create best seller/hindsight reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to allow for thorough analysis of the business.
- At the end of each season, partner with the Outlet Planner to identify categories or collections with excess inventory. This helps drive decisions to expand styles to additional door groups, take deeper mark-downs, off price opportunities and sample sale selections.
- Assist Outlet Planner with executing store goals, markdowns, and other business critical tasks.
