The Director, Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations across Jacuzzi Group's bath manufacturing entities, with a primary focus on driving cost savings, efficiency, and strategic sourcing. This role will lead the purchasing, sourcing, inventory & materials management, transportation, and distribution functions, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and operational excellence. The Director will provide strategic leadership to a remote team of 6-8 direct reports and their respective teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with business objectives, emphasizing cost savings, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency
- Oversee the Purchasing function, leading a team of Buyers to drive procurement excellence and vendor negotiation
- Manage vendor relationships, including acrylic and international manufacturing partners, ensuring optimal performance, cost control, and quality assurance
- Lead contract negotiations for direct and indirect goods and services, implementing robust vendor management practices and negotiating favorable terms
- Develop and execute vendor lifecycle strategies, from sourcing and selection to off-boarding, ensuring strategic alignment and performance tracking
- Oversee Inventory Management across manufacturing and JBRx, ensuring optimal stock levels, flow of materials, and demand planning accuracy
- Direct the Distribution and Warehouse Operations, optimizing the storage and flow of materials within the distribution center (DC)
- Collaborate closely with (S&OP) to align supply chain planning with sales and operations forecasting
- Partner with Transportation to enhance multimodal transportation strategies, including carrier negotiations, 3PL management, and logistics optimization
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process optimization techniques
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement corrective actions as needed
- Support organizational change management initiatives related to the supply chain, promoting strategic alignment and operational transparency

Compensation is based on experience; $146,000+ bonus potential
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, including purchasing, sourcing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution
- Supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS or ISM certification such as CSCP, CPIM, and or CPSM) are highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in leading large, cross-functional supply chain teams and remote workforces
- Strong expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
- Proven track record in driving cost savings and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), and Kaizen methodologies
- Experience in multimodal transportation management, including carrier negotiations and 3PL oversight
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, develop ROI models, and track key performance metrics
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and building consensus across departments
