JOB TITLE: FOOD SERVICE RESTAURANT CREW
Description
Under supervision, prepare the daily food service items or special items for groups and seek to meet customer expectations for quality food service; perform related duties as required.
Major Responsibilities
- Assure the cooking and service area is ready for service;
- Heat up grills and readies other equipment to be used;
- Assemble food orders and/or cook foods as ordered;
- Serves guests with courtesy and efficiency;
- Cleans work area, utensils and related equipment;
- Returns utensils, equipment and food supplies to storage area;
- Assures that refuse is hauled away from area;
- Implements sanitation and safety principles and regulations;
- May assist in other capacities as required;
- Have fun!
Education And Experience
- Some High School
- Friendly and team oriented
Special Skills
Knowledge of:
- Methods and equipment used in preparation and serving of outdoor and indoor food;
- Applicable sanitation and Health Department safety principles and regulations.
Ability To
- Pass ServSafe Certification;
- Use a variety of cooking utensils and equipment;
- Train assisting personnel;
- Deal with guests tactfully and promptly;
- Work well under pressure;
- Work independently yet in cooperation with others.
Compensation: From $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
