Summary:
- Manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from origin to final customer.
- Ensure alignment with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
- Support timely execution of logistics functions within financial and operational constraints.
- Contribute to marketing and financial goals through effective logistics execution.
- Execute and continuously improve logistics processes, including replenishment systems, demand management, data interchange, and electronic systems administration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers through targeted logistics initiatives.
- Integrate insights from customers, competitors, internal operations, and industry best practices to enhance logistics performance and competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Must have an active Top-Secret Clearance
- In-depth knowledge of DoD supply chain, property, and inventory management policies (e.g., DoD 4100.39, 4140.01, 4160 series, 5000.64, 8320.04).
- Experienced with DoD logistics systems: FLIS, FEDLOG, AESIP, LMP, GCSS-MC/GCSS-A, DPAS, SOLMAN, FSC (H2), and Item Name Directory (H6).
- Strong grasp of cross-service supply chain data interoperability.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Able to lift 40 lbs unassisted; willing to travel CONUS/OCONUS.
- U.S. Person (ITAR compliant); thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
