Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Sr. Manager – Logistics is to focus on revenue and profit growth, responsible for inventory processes, support overall direction of division and leadership and provide support to the Operations team.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support division direction for growth, focus on achieving the goals and objectives of the department using available resources.
- Responsible for managing/supervising inventory process – warehouse distribution.
- Manage the delivery of guest service consistent with the company’s core standards.
- Provide ideas and suggestions for new products and services to ensure company’s competitive position and anticipation of changing guest service needs.
- Coordinate future projects and be responsible for implementation of new processes and system enhancements and/or revisions.
- Support Operations and Merchandising teams with adequate Stock Host coverage and merchandise flow to store locations.
- Business analysis and P&L review involvement to identify revenue and cost containment opportunities.
- Management responsibilities for the department include hiring of new Team Members, promotions, creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; while remaining compliant with company policies, and legal requirements.
- Safety is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications
- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 7 - 10 years Retail experience
- Demonstrated experience in vendor analysis, P&L knowledge, storage room staging, receiving, ticketing and delivery of General Merchandise, Logo merchandise and Fashion apparel/accessories to store locations.
- Working knowledge of Excel, vendor relations, in store promotions, price negotiations, store planograms, storage room organization.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
- Lift or carry 10 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
- Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
- Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel.
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
