The Zaxby’s Support Center is looking for a
Local Store Marketing Coordinator to join the ZAX Management team. The Local Store Marketing Coordinator is the leader in local marketing that enables successful growth via new store opening plans for Company-owned Locations. They will provide the most effective tools and strategies to Regional/District Managers to successfully support their stores. This role is essential for driving local awareness, building customer relationships, and ensuring the success of Zaxbys in the community through targeted and organized marketing strategies. The LSM Coordinator will work closely with the Regional and District Managers to execute localized campaigns that generate excitement and engagement to help drive traffic and sales into the new location.

This position is field-based in the
Atlanta, GA area and requires
at least 60% travel.

Essential Job Functions
Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:
NEW STORE OPENINGS FOR COMPANY-OWNED LOCATIONS
- Work with Zaxby’s Media Team on the execution of Company new store openings marketing plans (Initial Marketing Plan)
- Lead the execution of all marketing elements of each New Store Opening to ensure they are executed with excellence
- Apply historical learnings and successes to future openings
- Plan and Execute the Grand Opening Events at each New Store Opening
LOCAL STORE MARKETING
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct and review existing market research to understand local demographics, trends, and consumer behaviors.
- Identify key local events, partnerships, and opportunities to increase brand visibility.
- Local Marketing Campaign Execution:
- Utilize NSO Marketing Playbook to plan, implement, and manage local marketing campaigns that drive foot traffic, sales, and customer engagement.
- Coordinate in-store promotions and events that build buzz around the grand opening and the first 13 months of business
- Community Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Foster relationships with local influencers, media, community organizations, and business groups.
- Develop and manage partnerships with local businesses to drive co-branded initiatives.
- Represent the brand at local events, charity drives, and networking opportunities to increase awareness.
- Brand Consistency & Customer Experience:
- Ensure all local marketing efforts are consistent with Zaxbys brand guidelines and corporate marketing strategies.
- Oversee the execution of in-store signage, promotions, and any other marketing materials to ensure they reflect the brand and resonate with local customers.
- Utilize SMG to monitor and respond to customer feedback.
- Budget Management:
- Work within the assigned marketing budget to plan and execute cost-effective local campaigns.
- Monitor the return on investment (ROI) of all local marketing efforts, adjusting tactics as needed to maximize impact.
- Tracking, Reporting & Optimization:
- Track the success of local marketing initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer acquisition, sales growth, and brand awareness.
- Provide regular reports offering insights and adjustments to improve future campaigns.
- Continuously optimize local marketing strategies based on performance data.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics and customer engagement strategies
- Influential leadership skills to drive recommendations and best in class work
- Knowledge of multi-unit restaurant or retail field marketing management
- Fundamental understanding of marketing principles and tactics including but not limited to advertising, media, public relations, POP, social media, digital marketing, and CRM
- Experience in creating new store opening marketing plans
- Creative mindset with the ability to tailor marketing initiatives to fit local needs
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills in in all meeting situations
- Problem-solving skills required in addition to agility since opening dates move frequently
- Ability to collaborate and lead teams, take initiative and manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to execution, and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with ability to organize collected data, analyze information, synthesize findings into conclusions and lead with recommended solutions
Education And Experience Guidelines
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: 3+ years of similar or related marketing experience; restaurant/QSR preferred

PAY RANGE
$55,000 - $70,000 annually
