What We’re Looking For
Travelpro is seeking a Vice President, Operations to join our Team! In this role you will be responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and management of all operational functions for the organization, including supply chain, distribution and fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, inventory, customer experience, and quality assurance.
What You’ll Do
You will play a critical role in leadership and execution of key initiatives aligned with the company’s growth objectives in the travel products industry in the areas listed below:
Strategic Leadership & Operational Oversight
- Develop and lead the execution of the company’s key operations strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Oversee all operational functions including supply chain including Purchasing & Planning, Distribution & Fulfillment.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Product Design, and Marketing to support commercial success.
- Drive organizational readiness for scale, including systems and process design for growth, efficiency, and agility.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and results.
Supply Chain
- Oversee demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and transportation network efficiency.
- Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure cross-functional alignment between sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and operations; drive consensus on demand forecasts, inventory strategies, and capacity planning to support business objectives and optimize service levels.
Distribution & Fulfillment
- Direct all warehousing, fulfillment, and order processing operations with a focus on speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Champion systems integration (e.g., ERP, WMS, OMS) and process automation to support operational scalability.
- Ensure successful execution of direct-to-consumer, wholesale, and e-commerce fulfillment models.
Talent Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities for directors and department leaders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational excellence.
Risk, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, labor laws, and environmental standards.
- Monitor and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruption, capacity limitations, or vendor performance.
- Drive workplace safety initiatives across all facilities.
Budget Management & Cost Optimization
- Own and manage the operational budget including labor, freight, warehousing, and capital expenditures.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process efficiencies, renegotiation of contracts, and network optimization.
What You’ll Need
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- 5+ years in an executive or senior leadership capacity within a product-based company.
- Executive-level strategic thinking with proven hands-on operational execution.
- Experience scaling operations in a fast-paced, product-driven, or e-commerce environment.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage large P&Ls and capital budgets.
- Excellent leadership, management change, and team-building skills.
- Deep understanding of supply chain strategy, logistics networks, and fulfillment optimization.
- Technologically adept; experience with ERP, WMS, and automation tools.
- Contract management, and performance metrics.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
