THE POSITION:
The primary objective of the Inventory Specialistis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s inventory. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented team member to join our Kinter Family! If you bring a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, andcommitted to maintaining accuracy; then Kinter is the company for you.
The pay range for this role is fixed at $19 to $21 hourly,commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all inventory related issues
- Work with other departments to identify and resolve inventory issues
- Research discrepancies and ensure timely adjustments
- Identify and report process or system issues that lead to inventory inaccuracies, and assist management in implementing improvements
- Work with purchasing and quality control on all QC issues and rejections
- Utilize ERP and wireless warehouse programs for inventory counts, order picks, and put away process
- Train and monitor wireless warehouse processes related to inventory control
- Complete piece counts requested by other departments
- Manage daily cycle counting process
- Other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience (2+ years)
- Valid Class C driver’s license preferred; willingness to get class C license
- Ability to lift or move heavy products up to 40 lbs
- Available to work 40+ hours per week with overtime on an as needed basis
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
The Location:
Kinter is located on the outskirts of Waukegan, just minutes from Gurnee and Wadsworth. Office and warehouses are located off IL Route 41, which makes the commute easy from surrounding towns
