Who You Are:
You are a detail-oriented Senior Planner capable of overseeing planning & allocation for our outlets. You will lead sales planning, promotional strategy, and inventory optimization for the outlet channel across North America. You will bring strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and a collaborative spirit to support data-driven decisions and ensure operational excellence in our outlet business on the planning & allocation team.
What You’ll Do:
Sales & Inventory Planning
- Build bottom-up, seasonal sales plans by category for Made-for-Outlet (MFO) collections; update monthly to ensure alignment with OTB and financial targets.
- Create and maintain annual, monthly, and daily sales plans at the door level, reconciling them to company sales goals and financial forecasts.
- Develop and maintain OTBs for seasonal and non-seasonal (licensed) categories such as sunglasses, watches, and fragrances.
- Forecast sales for replenishment and carryover (CO) SKUs based on performance trends to support inventory and size-level reorders.
Markdowns & Promotions
- Create and maintain the Outlet Promotion Calendar; plan and execute promotion and markdown strategies aligned with business needs, gross margin goals, historical trends, competitor activity, and merchandising guidelines.
- Monitor SKU-level performance and propose promotional pricing to optimize inventory turns, WOS, and gross margin.
- Own the markdown proposal process and prepare data-driven recommendations weekly and monthly.
- Maintain master markdown list and submit finalized files to HQ and stores.
Reporting & Analysis
- Provide weekly and monthly performance recaps including sales trends, LY/TY variance, bestsellers, sell-through, and inventory positioning.
- Lead end-of-season analysis to identify excess stock and inform off-price and sample sale strategies.
- Support Executive and cross-functional meetings with business recaps and sales presentations.
Inventory & Allocation
- Manage the outlet allocator to ensure accurate execution of allocation strategies, including correct SKU flow by door, bimonthly stock transfers, and aged inventory management.
- Partner with allocator and cross-functional teams to support launch cadence, stock balancing, and inventory optimization.
- Monitor receipts flow and proactively recommend strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and achieve sales targets by door.
- Lead inventory action plans and provide recommendations to maintain healthy stock levels.
- Collaborate with allocation, buying, and HQ teams to support price changes, product transitions, and seasonal product needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the planning lead for outlet business initiatives including Board sales plans, MBR recaps, and Gaze forecasts.
- Partner with Finance to validate GM reports and align on profitability objectives.
- Coordinate with merchandising, allocation, logistics, operations, and stores to ensure alignment and clarity on business objectives.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning, merchandising, allocation, or financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong command of retail math and financial forecasting
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
