Position Summary:
The Vice President of Human Resources will lead the people strategy for a fast-growing restaurant group, overseeing all HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, labor relations, training, and organizational development. This role will be instrumental in building a scalable HR infrastructure, fostering a strong service-oriented culture, and ensuring alignment between business strategy and people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support rapid growth and operational excellence across all locations.
- Lead and mentor a lean HR team, with oversight of recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, and performance management.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, compensation, benefits, and organizational design.
- Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and maintain a positive working environment across both corporate and frontline teams.
- Champion DEI initiatives and cultivate an inclusive, people-first culture across the organization.
- Oversee implementation of HRIS systems and process improvements to enhance HR service delivery.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in multi-unit hospitality or retail.
- Proven success scaling HR operations in a high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws and HR compliance practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or HR certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
