About the RoleWe are looking for a UI/UX Design Intern who is excited about crafting powerful data-driven interfaces that make complex systems easy to understand and use. You’ll work closely with engineers, researchers, and product teams to design and build the core data platform that powers internal research and external client insights.
This platform will include data analysis tools, advanced search capabilities, dashboards, and interactive visualizations—helping users better understand their data and make smarter decisions.
What You’ll Do- Design intuitive, user-centric interfaces for a web-based data platform used by both internal teams and external clients.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to explore new ideas and features.
- Work alongside developers to implement elegant dashboards and interactive visualizations.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and design iteration based on feedback.
- Contribute to building a design system for consistent styling and UX across the platform.
- Help visualize complex datasets in meaningful and engaging ways.
What We’re Looking For- Currently pursuing a degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in UI/UX principles and a portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful design work.
- Experience with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Passion for simplifying complex systems and designing for technical audiences.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with engineers and product leads.
- Curious and proactive mindset, with a desire to learn and make an impact.
Bonus Points- Experience designing data dashboards, analytics tools, or enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with frontend tech like React.js or data visualization libraries (e.g. D3.js, Chart.js).
- Interest in AI, robotics, or real-time data systems.
