SUMMARY:
Plan and evaluate with Marketing Operations all entertainment events to achieve revenue and profitability objectives, as well as identify opportunities to increase effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following
- Books and contracts special event entertainment as directed by Director of Entertainment.
- Advances all aspects of headliner shows and special events including but not limited to audio and lighting, production, hospitality, transportation, security, labor, and other day-of-show needs.
- Schedules and coordinates entertainment staff for audio/video setup of entertainment events and group sales functions to meet service expectations.
- Regularly inspects technical equipment to verify that it is in safe and reliable operation condition.
- Responsible for production coordination and implementation of overall entertainment initiatives at all entertainment venues with the Director of Entertainment.
- Responsible for the process flow of all property marketing events and staff related to concerts and public events at all entertainment venues.
- Develops and maintains a good working relationship with touring personnel to ensure entertainment events are executed as planned.
- Maintains appropriate staffing levels by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining employees, as needed.
- Facilitates the flow of information throughout the Entertainment department by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with staff.
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for maintaining accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
- Develops and implements procedures and objectives relating to entertainment events.
- Responsible for managing and communicating repairs to inventory as needed.
- Evaluates and plans the course of action to resolve general audio/visual concerns and repairs.
- Provides assistance and guidance to entire department in an effort to further attain specific goals and objectives designated by Director of Entertainment.
- Manages the operation of audio and visual equipment in all entertainment venues and casino floor including AMX, wireless microphones and special promotional music/announcements.
- Knowledge of signal flow, basic audio mixing consoles and other production including lighting and video systems throughout the property.
- Provides assistance and guidance to entire department, in an effort to further attain specific goals and objectives designated by Director of Entertainment.

Supervisory Requirements
Supervises various Entertainment staff as assigned by the Director of Entertainment.
Qualification Requirements

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Audio Visual Communications, Theatrical Production or related field; three to four years related venue management and production experience and or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Qualifications
Minimum 2 (two) years experience in Showroom/Event /Lounge Production. Experience with Ticketmaster ticking software preferred.
Excellent communications skills and organizational skills required. Must be computer-literate with basic word processing and spreadsheet skills.
This position requires a Level 2 Gaming License.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents and contracts. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from staff members at all levels, guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings. Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

This position may require the employee to travel.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment is typically smoky.
