About The Position
Supply Chain Analyst will have responsibility for planning, scheduling, and purchasing activities to drive a level loaded production plan that meets agreed upon customer forecasted demand.
Work Location/Schedule
- This position requires the employee to be onsite at our Cokato, MN location
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
- VitalPath does not offer relocation assistance for this position
Responsibilities
- Drive the company SIOP process including:
- Sales Order Demand Review
- Open Purchase Order Review
- Labor Review
- One week out review
- Tier Review Updates and Presentation
- Send RFQ packages to suppliers and negotiate cost
- Interfaces with suppliers, engineers, production, finance, quality, and leadership
- Manage MOQ’s and lead-times
- Ensures purchasing cost targets, timing requirements and technical requirements are met from the supply base
- Expedite samples, parts and tooling
- Follow up on supply issues, work with suppliers on continuous improvement
- Source new components
- Read and interpret engineering prints
- Ability to create/format a level loaded production plan
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or 4 years minimum recent purchasing and/or planning experience
- 4 years minimum recent purchasing and/or planning experience
- 4 years experience with JIT/LEAN/Single Piece Flow preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel
- Strong negotiation skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to implement Kanban, VMI, and other appropriate supply chain replenishment processes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Teachable, and willing/able to teach others
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
Compensation Package
- The salary range for this position is $65,175 - $86,900 . The posted salary range complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as market conditions, level of experience and training, education, certifications, as well as internal and external equity
- This position is eligible to earn an annual performance bonus based on meeting VitalPath’s bonus performance plan
