Compensation: $60.65 - $62.90 (based on experience)
Overview/Summary:
Directs the planning, execution, and measurement of business units, function and/or Global strategic and transformational initiatives, engaging directly with the senior team and is accountable for shaping and driving transformational initiatives for the Business Unit as well as enterprise wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims, Consulting, Risk Engineering or Underwriting area OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Claims, Consulting, Risk Engineering or Underwriting area
• Experience in Organizational Effectiveness or Change Management
• Experience in the application of existing and/or change management methodologies and tools • Project management experience
•Insurance knowledge and Lean Six Sigma skills preferred
Requirements:
• Lead, design and/or facilitate cross-functional projects that promote organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and profitability.
• Create timelines, agendas, goals and metrics/measurements.
• Guide in the development, implementation, and institutionalization of best practices around execution and change management.
• Guide the development of communication and implementation procedures for enterprise and Business Units initiatives.
• Partner across Business Units to leverage enterprise processes and solutions to support integrated or Business Units specific solutions as appropriate.
• Provide methodologies and tools to sponsors and team members to support initiatives and institutionalize a culture that embraces innovation.
• Ensure appropriate change management practices are effectively utilized throughout the life cycle to improve execution and delivery of results.
• Take a holistic approach to identifying business improvement opportunities, develop solutions, manage initiatives and identify the resources.
• Ensure specific metrics and measures incorporated into solutions reflect the business strategy, track progress, capture the impact of changes and identify further opportunities for improvement.

• Provide expert advice to significant key stakeholders and/or to the development of Business Unit strategic plans to enhance opportunities and reduce business risk.
• Develop and recommend Business Unit-wide strategic business and service plans; provide input to the Business Unit strategy.
• Identify opportunities and risks associated with changes in direction of external environment, looking forward 5 + years.
• Determine which emerging issues (internal and external) are relevant to the organization current and future needs to ensure strategies, programs, processes incorporate these.
• Ensure successful implementation of key enterprise-wide initiatives by consulting with executives and other leaders to gain their commitment, alignment and improve their business effectiveness.
• Influence and manage line managers working within portfolios to motivate those line managers to support the initiatives and program plans.
• Influence business leaders within particular lines of business to engage them in change and make them advocates for the process.
• Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships across the organization in order to achieve engagement to change.
• Model behaviors that demonstrate commitment to corporate values.
• Provide input into performance management discussions of project team members.
• Coach and provide technical advice and counsel within and outside operating unit.
• Provide guidance and support for team members.
• Take action to manage own personal development and encourage others to do the same.
