Job Summary
Growing company in northern Houston is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in purchasing. Negotiation and pricing experience in manufacturing required. Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's supply chain strategy including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution with a focus on optimizing efficiency, cost reduction, and aligning supply chain operations with business goals.
- Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing with key suppliers and implement quality control measures
- Help make strategic decisions regarding vendor relationships, technology implementation and long-term supply chain planning.
- Analyze market trends and forecast future demand using ERP and MRP Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance and identify new vendors.Lead the adoption and integration of MRP systems, warehouse management and advanced analytics.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are maintained to support planned production levels.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of purchasing and negotiating and pricing experience as well as cost savings
- ERP experience required, NetSuite preferred
- strong leadership skills as well as task management and MS Office software
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment
- Basic accounting knowledge of inventory and FIFO costing
