Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the scheduling of our tanker fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery services
- Act as a primary communication liaison between drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Monitor driver routes and provide real-time solutions to logistical challenges
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including tracking of delivery status and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a dispatcher in the transportation or logistics industry
- Strong geographic knowledge, especially Midwest and surrounding regions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of individuals
- Proficiency in dispatch software and strong computer skills
- Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with work hours, ready to step in during various shifts as needed
- A commitment to safety and a clean driving record
