Our client, a nationally recognized Strategic Services and IT Consulting firm headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer for a 4+ month consulting engagement. This is a primarily remote role supporting a client in the greater Philadelphia area. As a UX/UI Designer, you will lead the design of intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across a client-facing platform. This role is ideal for a creative and analytical thinker who thrives in cross-functional environments and has a strong command of both user experience strategy and visual interface design. Compensation for this position is up to $100/hr., based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design user-centered digital experiences
- Conduct user interviews and research sessions to gather insights and define product requirements
- Utilize methods like persona development and journey mapping to inform the design approach
- Translate insights into wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Design and deliver an interactive prototype supporting customer onboarding and system interaction workflows
- Apply best practices in usability and responsive design across desktop and mobile
- Present and communicate design concepts to clients and iterate based on feedback
- Ensure final designs align with both user needs and business goals
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally in client-facing or consulting environments
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and/or Adobe XD
- Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles
- Proven experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable design
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage design priorities in a remote setting
- Candidates located in the Philadelphia area are preferred; East Coast-based designers will also be considered
