Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager at CAVA is responsible for the development and implementation of a compelling, on-brand strategic vision across our social media platforms.
This role is an experienced manager of social content who is creative, culturally attuned, forward-thinking and data-driven – possessing equal parts “creative brain” and “strategic brain” to join our team. Most importantly, you LOVE social content.
This role will be creative with hands-on responsibilities leading social media campaigns, crafting engaging content, and optimizing performance through analytics and reporting. You’ll be expected to ideate, create, and execute across all of CAVA’s social channels.
This role reports directly to the Director of Social Media and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to amplify our brand and connect with our community.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies that align with brand goals and voice
- Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community engagement across all active social channels
- Own and maintain the content calendar, ensuring coordination with marketing, creative, and product timelines
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and external creators to bring campaigns and social-first ideas to life
- Monitor performance metrics, provide regular reporting, and optimize content based on insights
- Stay on top of trends, cultural moments, and platform updates to keep the brand relevant and reactive
- Assisting in low-lift asset creation when needed and able
The Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience managing brand social accounts across major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Strong grasp of content strategy, platform best practices, and audience engagement tactics
- Skilled in copywriting, visual storytelling, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express)
- Proficient with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Later, Minter, Sprout), content calendars, and cross-functional coordination
- Able to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements
- Knowledge of current macro and micro trends, memes, platform updates, and cultural conversations
- Experience managing content calendars and coordinating across departments (e.g., marketing, creative, product, operations)
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities or campaigns at once
- Self-starter with strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams or with external partners
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
- For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
- Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
