Who you are:
You are an energetic and collaborative marketing leader with exceptional communication skills. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and are known for driving results. You are creative and up to date on industry players and trends. Strategic yet hands-on, you will support the Director of Marketing in developing event and activation strategies for U.S. and Canada retail stores, translating them into impactful, tactical plans. You bring a deep understanding of brand-building and commercial performance and will execute marketing initiatives across in-store events and activations, partnerships, regional advertising, and CRM initiatives that align with and support business objectives.
What You’ll Do:
General
- In collaboration with the Director of Marketing North America develop and execute a local commercial marketing strategy across the retail channel including but not limited to in-store and out-of-store events, customized client experiences, brand partnership opportunities, and regional marketing/advertising.
- Drive seasonal marketing strategies tailored to support company and retail priorities, including concept development, activation plans, and performance.
- Partner with internal business partners in North America to identify market specific opportunities and strategies for client activations. Including but not limited to Senior Director of Retail, Director of CRM, regional retail managers, and boutique managers.
- Liaise with Italy headquarters to optimize local strategy.
- Cultivate, foster, and manage key relationships important to overall business growth, awareness and brand perception.
- Support with budget forecasting and actualizing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for finance functions in North American corporate and Italian Headquarter offices.
- Manage and supervise Manager, Retail Marketing & Events to ensure seamless execution of events and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Events
- Event strategy: develop localized seasonal events and activation strategies for retail and outlet channels that support CRM and business objectives, including concept development and monitoring performance.
- Event execution: lead event execution including but not limited to identifying vendors, organizing action plans, overseeing execution on-site, and compiling recap reports for North American corporate and Italian Headquarter offices.
- Support broader institutional marketing and communication initiatives including but not limited to showroom events and appointments, brand partnerships, and brand events.
- Support and maintain North American Marketing calendar inclusive of events, trunk shows, VIP appointments. Maintain joint events calendar across PR, retail, wholesale, and concession channels.
- Liaise with Italy headquarters for event directives and creation of seasonal event materials.
Retail Marketing
- Support the Director of Marketing to develop mall/landlord marketing strategy, including lease-required advertising (LRA) and regional media placements
- Collaborate with local CRM team to understand key focuses, KPIs, and larger CRM initiatives to understand how marketing can support.
- Identify partnerships and collaborations to optimize activations in local markets.
- Monitor seasonal print and digital mall/ regional advertising campaigns on a weekly basis. Report on seasonal programs including YOY program analysis, ROI, and KPI tracking. Assist in end-to-end planning and trafficking of seasonal creative content from pre- to post-production between internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Marketing or Communications degree preferred
- 7-10 years of Marketing experience within the luxury industry
- At least 5 years of experience in event production
- At least 1 year of experience managing a team
- Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) a plus
- Experience in strategizing, developing and delivering upon Marketing strategies to meet company objectives
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners in a growing entrepreneurial team environment
- Convey positive can-do and solution-oriented attitude
- Adaptable and comfortable with change. Ability to seek feedback and seek other points of view while maintaining confident direction
- Ability to travel domestically on a seasonal basis

As required by New York City salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position starts at $50,000. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
