Description

Answers appointment scheduling line and schedules patient appointments in a timely manner per established protocols.
Ensures accuracy of data input at time of scheduling.
Coordinates appointments with tech and physician as necessary.
Responds to patient questions and needs by editing, canceling, and rescheduling appointments as necessary.
Create telephone encounters for patient questions and assigns to appropriate staff members
Rescheduling appointments for assigned providers
Maintains a working knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance plans, workers’ compensation, etc.
Other Duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum of six months experience working in a physician's office
High School or equivalent
Must be able to work independently
