The position communicates with the manager in directing the daily operations for Raleigh Central Services. Each section must operate observing the General Statues, Federal and State guidelines as it relates to that section. This position communicates with the manager in the development of methods and procedures to ensure efficient customer service is provided. This position provides technical and administrative support, cooperation and guidance to the employees and the Division by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. This position is responsible for notifying employees of new policies/procedures or Statutes which affect the processing of work. This position identifies periodic adjustments to ensure the overall needs of the office are met by maximizing the existing manpower and resources.
This position analyzes the personnel and operations of the office to find ways to reduce the wait times for customers. This position guides subordinate supervisors in monitoring, evaluating, and coaching employees. This position is responsible for ensuring that proper money and audit procedures are practiced by each employee. This position is responsible for a total of $6500 of petty cash, daily deposits ranging from $40,000 to $300, 000 and over 19 million dollars annually. This position assigns personnel to respond to "Contact Us" inquiries.
This position communicates directly with the Director's office and Commissioner's office with projects or special assignments they delegate. This position meets with committees and attends meetings to strategize and implement change when needed. This position identifies technical problems with STARS and recommends change request procedures to the Field Office Support unit. This position operates in a secure work environment and is responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to the office. This position is responsible for protecting all security measures that have been assigned to this unit. This position provides assistance to the Program Coordinator I as needed.
 The program area for this position includes one or more of the following: Experience identifying technical problems with STARS and recommends change request procedures to the Field Office Support unit, experience with project coordination, experience creating DMV related standard operating procedures, experience in financial management, and/or DMV customer service experience.
