This Position Requires Pharmaceutical Distribution Experience
Strawn Arnold has been retained to recruit a Vice President of Fulfillment for a large pharmaceutical distributor with multiple locations.
Reporting to the COO, the Vice President, Fulfillment will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee certain designated warehousing operations activities in the organization ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
This role is a succession position to more senior roles in the organization. The role is onsite and based in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area with travel to other locations. Initially this role will be largely focused on accomplishing specific projects, a few are listed below:
- An ERP/Platform upgrade throughout the Company.
- Warehouse reorganization initiative focused on optimizing layout, improving workflow efficiency, and enhancing inventory management.
- Drug Supply Chain and Security Act (DSCSA) implementation and management.
Requirements:
- Experience in pharmaceutical distribution will be key as well as FDA/DEA/DSCSA knowledge.
- Multi-site warehouse operations experience
- DSCSA experience
- Experience with ERP and WMS upgrades
