AllTek Staffing has partnered with a local manufacturer who specializes in making actuators for heavy industrial and nuclear applications. Our client is currently looking to add a Project Manager to their team. This company has been in the actuator game for a long time and has a great history of success in the Pittsburgh market.
Job Details:
This is a direct hire role.
Includes healthcare, vacation, 401k and annual bonus.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing projects from proposal stage through project completion
- Taking new product development from initial concept through development to production ready
- Communicating technically with domestic and international customers
- Understanding and use of MRP systems (preferably M3), BOM structures and scheduling.
- Conduct project management activities such as communicating with principal investigators, resource managers, project engineers, technical tradesmen, etc. to track project cost and schedule milestones, maintain quality assurance processes, and keep the focus on delivering project commitments.
- Experience in identifying project deliverable priorities and establishing accountability within a project team for those deliverables.
- Coordinate, resolve, or assist in resolution of conflicts and other issues within and between project and program teams and recommend/provide solutions.
- Make effective presentations in oral and written form and to communicate complex issues.
- Travel to support customer meetings when required both international and domestic (5-15%).
Education and Experience:
- 4-year Engineering degree
- 4-7 years related; nuclear industry preferred
- Experience with nuclear industry and valve actuation is a plus.
