Job Title: Coordinator, Game Operations
Reports To: Manager, Game Operations and Fan Experience
The Coordinator, Game Operations will support the execution of all pre-season, regular season, and post-season home games at Crypto.com Arena (and off-site pre-season games, as applicable). This role will assist in ensuring a best-in-class experience for fans and serve as a key support resource for various internal departments, vendors, and external partners. The coordinator will also play a critical role in the operational planning and day-of-game support for activations, giveaways, and event logistics.
Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)
Game Operations Support:
- Assist with game day credential distribution and tracking.
- Coordinate staff and guest parking needs with internal departments.
- Help compile and distribute game day production notes.
- Create and maintain tracking forms, season-long documents, and operational checklists to ensure accurate recordkeeping and efficient planning.
- Support setup and breakdown of locker room and game-related assets (i.e. in arena promotions, concourse activations).
- Provide logistical support for VIP clients, vendors, and visiting teams on game days.
- Track, maintain, keep inventory of game operations assets and supplies (i.e. wristbands, credentials, event passes, giveaways, etc.).
- Provide support with special events at the arena.
Hospitality & VIP Areas
- Assist with reservations for Lexus Club and Yaamava Club for executives and guests.
- Support the setup and management of VIP hospitality spaces and pop-ups.
- Help coordinate food and beverage needs across departments.
- Lakers Live (Fan Fest):
- Provide day-of support for Lakers Live events, including setup, strike, and coordination with vendors and partners.
- Giveaways:
- Assist with giveaway logistics, including tracking orders, inventory, and distribution
- Help fulfill internal giveaway requests from other departments.
Events
- Support Lakers-related events such as jersey retirements, ceremonies, and fan appreciation events through administrative and onsite support.
Administrative
- Schedule department and game day production meetings
- Maintain a comprehensive record of agreements and COI’s, including filing, tracking deadlines and ensuring compliance.
- Assist with annual financial planning and review invoices.
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in event operations, sports, live entertainment, or related field
- Experience working game nights or large-scale events preferred

- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines

Travel: Less than 5% of the time
Hours: Standard office hours (9 AM – 5:30 PM M-F) with additional evening and weekend hours as required for games and events
The pay range for this role is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and certifications. In addition to those factors, we consider the relative pay of our current employees in similar positions when making a final offer.
