Summary
The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for building and leading a high performing team of recruiters and onboarding coordinators who are focused on achieving the organization's recruitment goals. Act as the leader in charged for the daily operations of a specific TA functional area. The TA manager will work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition in developing effective recruitment and retention strategies. Work collaboratively with other TA managers in driving and executing these strategies and responsible for measuring performance to push continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for building and leading a high performing team of recruiters who are focused on achieving the organization's recruitment goals. The TA manager will work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition and the Senior Manager of Talent Strategy in developing effective recruitment and retention strategies. Work collaboratively with other TA managers in driving and executing these strategies and responsible for measuring performance to push continuous process improvement.
- Drive Recruitment Operational Efficiencies: The role is responsible for leading the team to improve the speed, cost-effectiveness, and overall efficiency of the recruitment process.
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborating with hiring leaders, operations, and HR partners to develop and execute workforce plans.
- Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies: Partnering with senior leadership and business owners to create and deploy strategies that directly improve staffing efficiency and reduce reliance on overtime and agency utilization.
- Build Strong Talent Pipelines: Developing and executing creative strategies to proactively source and engage potential candidates within assigned areas.
- Positive Candidate/Hiring Manager Experience: Collaborating with the Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement strategies that ensure a positive and engaging experience for all candidates and hiring managers
- Prioritization and Effective Management: Ensuring the team effectively manages and prioritizes their workload and areas of responsibility utilizing metrics and data to support decision making.
- Recruiting for Senior Leadership and Specialty Roles: Directly sourcing and recruiting for critical and high-level positions within the organization.
Experience
Generally requires 7 to 10 years of related experience. Management experience is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in related field is required
Skill
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment. Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.

Physical Requirements - Job function is sedentary in nature and requires sitting for extended periods of time. Function may require frequent standing or walking. Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
