Job Description
This role can be based in Chicago, NYC, Mountain View, or San Francisco.

LinkedIn’s Social Impact team creates economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce by connecting professionals and overcoming barriers to networks, as well as the skills and knowledge needed to access opportunities. This role is part of the Employee & Community Programs team within Social Impact, which is focused on inspiring LinkedIn teammates to get involved in social impact through strategic volunteering and giving opportunities while bringing our vision, culture, and values to life.
We are looking for an Employee Programs Operations Associate Manager who will report to the Head of Employee & Community Programs and support internal initiatives across the team. This role will manage day-to-day operations for initiatives and campaigns, enabling global teammates to be agents of positive change in their local community while creating, managing, and optimizing systems and processes to measure our impact.
This hands-on, fast-paced role blends operational execution, creative problem solving, and effective communication and collaboration. The ideal candidate will be deeply organized, analytical, collaborative, passionate about social impact, and have experience managing operations for social impact employee programs.
Responsibilities:
Employee Programs Operations (70%)
- Own, manage and document key team operational processes including day-to-day management of internal giving platform, employee match, volunteer and event approvals, responding to employee inquiries (including executives), and training employees and social impact team collaborators on platform functionality.
- Serve as the day-to-day operations contact and team subject matter expert for our giving platform vendor, managing weekly vendor meetings, trouble-shooting issues as needed, recommending new features to ensure platform is optimized for team needs, and supporting contract renewal process.
- Design, execute and optimize effective measurement and reporting systems and processes to showcase program impact and help the team make data-driven decisions, creating monthly and quarterly data reports and conducting data cleanups to ensure accurate tracking.
- Create clarity with employees through effective management of relevant and timely internal program communications and channels to drive participation and employee recognition including the volunteer portal, SharePoint sites, program FAQs and policies, reoccurring communications to new hires and volunteer program participants, repository of employee stories that can be leveraged across channels, and programs to highlight top volunteers.
- Recommend innovative and creative ways to capture more employee volunteer and giving activity and drive increased engagement in our programs.
Program and project management Special Projects (30%)
- Collaborate across the team to support the execution of global programs and initiatives, events, campaigns and special projects that further embed social impact into the employee lifecycle.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience managing social impact employee programs, operations, and partnering with vendors to achieve program outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical thinker who excels at data analysis and working with software and tools to measure and drive program success
- Exceptional organizational and systems-thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects
- Strong knowledge, skills, and passion for developing and implementing operationally efficient processes and systems
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
- Proactive self-starter who moves with a sense of urgency and possesses a solutions-oriented, growth mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and planning skills.
- Comfort with Microsoft and Google tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Co-pilot) to drive efficiency.
- Highly adaptable and intellectually curious, with the ability to quickly learn and pivot
- Track record of effective stakeholder management
- Experience working in mission-driven environments, with an understanding of nonprofit or social impact audiences

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is 72,000 to 118,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
