We are currently seeking a part-time Customer Success Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll support our customers in a number of ways. You’ll ensure that clients are onboarded smoothly by loading their data seamlessly into their new environment. Under the direction of the current Customer Success Engineer, you’ll manage the day-to-day tasks that need to be performed for a dynamic list of clients in a timely manner. Not all data transfers will go according to plan, so a sense of urgency is needed when communicating unexpected results from processing a client’s data.
This is a dynamic role critical to the scaling of our organization. If you’re a tinkerer with some python skills, advanced spreadsheet skills, basic SQL knowledge, and a knack for problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Clean and upload client data, including customer, product, and inventory information.
- Develop familiarity with competitor PoS systems and how they perform their reporting.
- Document workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support scaling efforts.
- Collaborate with the implementation and customer success teams to understand client needs and ensure data accuracy.
- Manage a dynamic client list, tracking each client’s status to determine the necessary tasks that need to be completed, and responding to feedback from the implementation team in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Experience with Jira or a similar work management system.
- Familiarity with sending queries to API endpoints (either REST or GraphQL).
- Basic SQL skills to query out data in support of customers and perform basic data updates as needed.
- Python skills (pandas required) that will help in performing data cleaning, data manipulation, and simple data analysis tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities, with empathy and patience.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
This role is open to candidates located within the United States, excluding residents of
CA, WA, OR, and NY. Starting pay will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
This is a part-time position with up to 29 hours per week and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.
Pay: $35-$40 per hour
