Overview:
Kuros Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a
Supply Chain Manager to join our core Operations team as we launch our US manufacturing facility in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Supply Chain Manager will own the execution of Supply Chain operational goals as well as directing, organizing, and controlling all US Supply Chain activities and team to ensure reliable and consistent supply and sufficient capacity in the end-to-end supply chain. The US Supply Chain Manager establishes the path and leads supply chain, warehouse procurement to ensure Kuros' Supply Chain is adequately supplied by optimizing material planning and procurement, supplier coordination, logistics, inventory management & control, and demand planning to ensure efficient production, accurate inventory control, and timely product delivery in the most cost-efficient manner. Critical success factors for this role include leadership, developing people, optimizing resource output and enforcing supply chain and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- With the support of the VP of US Operations and Supply Chain Director in the Netherlands, develop supply chain departmental strategy and vision to ensure adherence with customer expectations aligned with the global Supply Chain Strategy and Kuros' business objectives.
- Establish, lead, and manage Kuros' US Supply Chain team by leading by example and providing guidance across the team to embed and sustain a culture of safety-first mentality, continuous improvement of the supply chain through cost reduction, quality improvements, uninterrupted and reliable and consistent supply, and lead-time reduction.
- With the support of the VP of US Operations, implement plans and procedures that drive achievements of supply chain goals and manufacturing improvements by managing team performance and ensuring the team is aligned with and accomplishing goals/objectives.
- Enforce consistent and continual improvements, and monitor supply chain metrics such as inventory accuracy, On Time in Full Delivery (OTIF), shipping accuracy, sales forecast accuracy, capacity utilizations and monitoring expense budget to fiscal year plan.
- Develop and manage a team that is responsible for sustaining an inventory control process that includes a cycle count policy that is compliant with Kuros' fiscal and operational requirements.
- Ensure inventory safety stock targets are achieved and aligned with ERP Masterdata and parameters to ensure inventory availability at all times.
- Optimize logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Implement risk management strategies related to supply disruptions, quality issues or cost fluctuations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, including GMP or ISO standards.
- Support existing S&OP processes to have continued success in cross-functional accountability regarding forecasting, planning, inventory levels and safety stocks, capacity utilizations, procuring, and material flow as well as developing and sustaining data sources from our ERP/MRP system in order to build and present descriptive analyses, making our decision-making process as efficient as possible and aligned with the company's short and long-term strategies.
- Lead the US Supply Chain team in the implementation/development of strategic procurement, which includes establishing a supplier base in the US to localize the supply chain for our US manufacturing facility, build and sustain supplier relationships while holding them accountable by establishing quarterly business reviews that are prioritized around agreed upon KPIs such as OTIF and PPM score.
- Support the sustainability of Kuros' 6S program to ensure our warehouse space and supply chain employees are working in a world class facility that is safe and efficient.
- With the utilization of our lean methodologies such as morning markets, manage communications between value streams to ensure Operations is meeting the build schedule and building quality product that meets customers' expectations
- With the support of the VP of US Operations, develop and manage financial budgets for US Supply Chain.
Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operational Management required. A Master's degree in related fields or an MBA, preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification preferred
- SCM or APICS Certification preferred
- Experience: 5+ years in Supply Chain management in an ISO13485 regulated industry
- Experience with regulatory environments such as GMP, FDA, or ISO standards
- Experience in end-to-end supply chain and managing S&OP meetings and developing descriptive analyses allowing the leadership team to make short- and long-term strategy decisions.

- Proficiency in lean methodologies and Six Sigma tools
- Proficiency in ERP and Masterdata, including MRP, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
- Strong negotiation skills regarding procurement contracts/supplier agreements, freight forwarder contracts, 3PL contracts.
- Ability to travel US and international
Pay Range
$120,000—$140,000 USD
