POSITION OVERVIEW
As a pivotal member of Ashley’s executive leadership team, the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Planning will spearhead the strategic planning and optimization of our global supply chain, with a focus on demand and supply planning, network design, and operational integration. This role demands a seasoned leader to oversee planning functions across the United States and Asia, driving results that reinforce Ashley’s standing as North America’s #1 furniture manufacturer and retailer. The SVP will play a critical role in aligning complex, multi-regional operations—drawing on extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions—to deliver measurable business impact in a dynamic, global environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Execution (40%)
- Design and implement a world-class supply chain planning strategy that integrates demand forecasting, supply optimization, and network design across global operations.
- Leverage advanced analytics and industry-leading practices to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Lead the integration of supply chain planning processes across diverse geographies, utilizing proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions to unify operations seamlessly.
- Drive risk mitigation and resilience strategies to ensure continuity in a complex global network.
Operational Leadership & Results (30%)
- Oversee all aspects of demand and supply planning, ensuring alignment with manufacturing, distribution, and retail objectives.
- Optimize network design to support a multi-billion-dollar operation spanning the U.S. and Asia, delivering cost efficiencies and improved service levels.
- Champion results-driven initiatives that enhance inventory turnover, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to align planning with strategic vendor partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%)
- Partner with IT to deploy cutting-edge planning tools and systems, integrating data-driven insights into decision-making.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain planning, with a proven track record of driving results in a global, complex environment.
- Extensive expertise in demand and supply planning, network design, and operational optimization.
- Demonstrated success in leading supply chain integration during mergers and acquisitions.
- Deep experience implementing advanced planning technologies and analytics tools.
- Background in furniture, consumer goods, or a related industry is highly preferred.
