Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with trade experience who wants to expand into project management and contribute to successful project execution from start to finish. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and field teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Setup
- Assist in project startup including administrative preparation, scheduling, and documentation.
- Coordinate permits and inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and update daily reports, logs, and digital files in Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
Document & Change Control
- Track and manage submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and issue change orders and purchase orders for labor, materials, and services.
- Support project closeout, including as-built drawings and documentation submission.
Field & Technical Support
- Coordinate utility locates for job site safety and compliance.
- Perform accurate material takeoffs to support budgeting and procurement.
- Interpret blueprints and assist in creating panel schedules.
Financial & Reporting Support
- Review and assist with cost reports and job budgets.
- Provide timely updates and input to help track expenditures and resource allocation.
Project Manager Support
- Follow direction from the Project Manager, contributing to milestone completion.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and trade partners to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of trade-related experience (electrical, mechanical, carpentry, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive and dependable attitude.
