Title: Logistics Manager
Summary: A global leader in manufacturing specialty chemicals is looking to bring on a Logistics Manager to their team! With a revenue of $3.5B, they manufacture chemicals for multiple spaces including automotive, aerospace, food/ beverage, pharma, and energy. This role is responsible for optimizing multi-site distribution networks and ensuring on-time delivery to customers
The Manager's Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of a streamlined distribution network.
- Develop and standardize processes across multiple warehouses.
- Oversee transportation operations, including truckload, LTL, intermodal, and third-party logistics.
- Manage inventory, regulatory compliance, and productivity initiatives.
- Utilize TMS & WMS (SAP preferred) to enhance operational efficiency.
The Manager's Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, including transportation and warehouse management.
- 3+ years of management experience
- Experience in freight cost optimization and lane analysis
