Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team. This role will support data-driven decision-making through advanced analysis and reporting, helping drive improvements in patient care, clinical performance, and business outcomes. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a passion for healthcare analytics, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the data infrastructure supporting clinical performance, provider analytics, and patient outcome reporting.
Serve as a technical subject matter expert on program reporting and departmental data processes.
Create documentation and dashboards using tools such as Domo, Power BI, PowerApps, SQL, and Salesforce.
Design financial and utilization models to support cost projections, budget planning, and strategic decision-making.
Analyze trends and generate reports with actionable insights for clinical teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
Utilize complex SQL queries and data tools to enhance operational efficiency and support value-based care initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams to aggregate and validate data sources for comprehensive program reporting.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and contribute to a positive patient experience through data excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, MIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data analytics, healthcare analytics, or business intelligence.
Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, SSRS, Tableau, Domo, or Power BI.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently on complex tasks.
High attention to detail, critical thinking, and a passion for healthcare innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a healthcare or value-based care environment.
Familiarity with Salesforce or PowerApps.
Knowledge of medical claims data or clinical workflows.
