Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze market data and consumer trends to identify growth opportunities within assigned categories.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to develop and implement category strategies.

- Monitor and evaluate category performance, providing actionable insights to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.

- Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.

- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark category performance against industry standards.

- Support product development and innovation initiatives by providing market and consumer insights.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.

- Proven experience in category management

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Advanced Excel, Nielsen/Circana, Numerator.)

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to external customers

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Familiarity with retail and consumer goods industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a relevant field.

- Experience with category management software.

- Knowledge of the West Coast market.
