I am seeking: Labor & Employment Associate (Class Years 2017–2021) – New York

My client (AmLaw 100) is hiring Labor & Employment Associate (JD Class Years 2017 - 2021) to join their tier-1 L&E practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team on complex, high-stakes matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

About the Role:

You’ll focus primarily on employer-side litigation, with exposure to advisory and internal investigations work as well. A significant portion of the litigation work involves:

Class and representative actions
Wage & hour and discrimination claims

Experience with class action litigation - particularly in the employment context - is highly valued. Ideal candidates will bring 3+ years of experience in the employment practice of a peer law firm.

Qualifications:

JD Class Year: 2017–2021
Admitted to practice in New York
Solid foundation in labor and employment law
Strong litigation background, including motion practice and discovery
Experience with class or collective action litigation is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

Annual salary range: $310,000–$435,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
