Innoscience, a leading GaN semiconductor company, is seeking several entry-level ML/AI engineers to join our team in San Jose, California. This role is critical in driving our efforts to enhance manufacturing process efficiencies through the strategic implementation of machine learning and AI models.

Position: ML/AI Engineer for Manufacturing Process Optimization

Location: San Jose, CA (5 days a week onsite)

About the Role:

As an ML/AI Engineer at Innoscience, you will be responsible for selecting, developing, and implementing cutting-edge machine learning and AI models to optimize our semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will join a diverse team of domain experts, guiding them in the creation and refinement of AI solutions that drive efficiency and innovation in our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and select appropriate machine learning and AI models to address specific manufacturing challenges

• Work closely with a cross-functional team of domain experts, data scientists, and engineers

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify areas for ML/AI-driven optimization

• Assist in the development and execution of ML/AI strategies aligned with Innoscience’s business goals

• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing applications

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field

• Minimum of 1-year project, work, or internship experience in ML/AI model development/implementation or similar data science-oriented undertaking

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar

• Familiarity with popular machine learning frameworks and tools

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes

• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in manufacturing

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
